*blows off dust and wipes away cob webs*

Wow….I remember this thing. It used to be a place for me to come to and empty my thoughts. Then I deleted my account, made this one and just started looking at different mediums of art.

Tonight, I find myself weighed down with a swirling array of thoughts, ideas and questions. As I sat watching TV I remembered this place and figured why not?!

Anyway……

2011 has been an interesting year so far. I have come further in my fitness journey than I ever thought I would. I have made some great friends on-line and I have had the opportunity to meet some of these amazing people in RL and via video chats thanks to the new Google+ Hangout feature. I have lost some friendships, both in RL and in the virtual world. I have bonded with people I’ve never met and shared some of my most intimate thoughts, fears and ideas with them. I have felt like I was in high school again with the attitudes and insecurities of some. However most of all…I feel like I am truly finding myself, and putting myself first.

I’ve also learned how to open up to people without fearing getting hurt. The emotion and fear of it is there, and it takes me a little while to feel comfortable with sharing but once I crack the gate, I feel great.

Crap….I’m emotionally growing up! Can someone pass a Kleenex?

Ok…writing hasn’t stopped the thoughts, but it has given them a little direction and structure. Should anyone actually read this, I apologize for the rambling and will STFU now :)
